St. Patrick's Day School Treat

With Emily in kindergarten and Brayden in preschool I get the pleasure of providing snack to 2 classes once a month. These past few months I feel like I've "jipped" my younger 2 kids. When my bigger kids were still responsible for snack we went all out with our snacks. Some of them they still remember. Knowing we only have 3 more months of school or 3 more snack opportuntites I vowed to get it in gear and do some fun things. This month both Emily and Brayden just happened to have school snack just a few days apart. Being those day's fell around St. Patrick's day we went with that theme.

I love the way they turned out. We colored our cake mix a few different colors, frosted them green, placed an Extreme Sour strip on for our rainbow and of course had to add a pot of gold or two. Thank you Pintrest for your awesome idea's. My kids loved it, the teacher's loved it, the class as a whole loved it. Emily came home and informed me that her friends not only think I am the "best baker" ever but also the coolest mom! I think they were a sucess!!

Now I need to start planning next months snack. Brayden's day fall's on April Fool's . Ooooohhhh the possibilities!!
