A few years ago we invited Grandma and Grandpa Heaton to our house for Christmas Eve. It has become a tradition for our family for a few years now. Sometimes we make homemade pizza and other times we just fix something easy. This night we had navajo tacos.
What everyone looks forward to is the making of manger scenes.
Uncle Kirk was able to join us this year also.
The hardest part is always the foundation. Deciding how big and what kind of a design.
And then it's go time! Let the decorating begin.

Hunter hadn't been feeling good and was ready for bed. Emily wanted to set up a timer to take our picture. This was the best she got.
And now it's bed time.
