Our First Pet

 We did a thing. We got our 1st indoor pet. Technically it belongs to Brayden. He named her Allie. 

The poor thing was bought from a pet store last summer by a senior in highschool. Come August she was suppose to head to college and expected her Mom and Dad to take care of her. They said, "no way!" So she sold her. The new family bought her for their 11 year old daughter. They had her from August until March. The daughter just doesn't play with her anymore and so decided to sell her. Enter our family....

We were told Allie didn't have a lot of interaction with the males of her previous family but we're going to give it a try. 

It's taking some time but she is starting to warm up to Brayden. 

Yay!!

Kids talked me into letting her crawl into my neck too. She's a bit scratchy. It's a weird feeling to feel her breathing on your neck and scurrying into your hair. 

             Welcome to the family little one. Allie is nocturnal. She sleeps all day long and is awake at night. After dinner dishes are complete the kids usually pull her out and play with her. Then at bed time                         she goes back to her cage and we hear her running in her wheel all night.
