Spring Break 2021

For several years now our family usually spends the week at Brian Head, snowboarding. With Covid-19 there were a lot of restrictions, the slopes were not open 100%. The pool was closed at our rental and we decided we just really didn't want to put up with non sense. So Kory chose to stay home and work. Maddie stayed home and worked. And Hunter worked and went up north with a friend to snowboard at a different resort.

I decided to take the kiddo's up north by myself. Emily brought a friend, Brooklyn to join us for a few days. Day 1 we spent at Hogle Zoo. It was the first time these kid's have been to the zoo. We were excited!

The zoo was open but the animals were kept away from the fences, we had to wear masks and social distance from other visitors.

We saw real elephants but they were pretty far away.

How much do we weigh compared to an elephant?

Gorilla's were pretty fun to watch. One was a new Mommy who carried her baby everywhere with her.

After the zoo we spent the evening at the hotel.

Kids got to swim and I got to read a book.

The next day we spent it at Thanksgiving Point.

The Butterfly Aquarium was amazing.

The kids got to play a game moving bugs around to different colors of flowers with their feet.

Lots of wind and turbulence activities.

and water too....

One of the activities was to see how long you could hang from a rope, like a sloth.
It wasn't as easy as expected.

The best activity was at the Museum of Natural Curiosity.

Lots of canopy walk ways. So much fun!

We decided to spend the extra money to do their canopy tour which was absolutely AMAZING! Unfortunately no camera's were aloud. But we conquered some fears being so high walking on beams.

At the Farm Country Brayden and Kylie were able to ride a horse, feed peacocks, sheep and pigs.

After a wonderful day at Thanksgiving Point it was time to go home. It was a wonderful 2 days up North with the kid's.
