Nintendo Junkie

This is Hunter are little Nintedo Junkie.

So this is Donkey Kong running from the alligator.

Donkey Kong just isn't going fast enough maybe he'll go faster if I stand up.

Nope! Still not fast enough.

Maybe this will help!!!

So once again this is how he starts off. Legs together and crossed. His hands almost resting on his thighs.

Donkey Kong has gotten away from the alligator but now it's time to jump over the porqupine. So our little legs come uncrossed and start to spread as our hands start to rise higher.

Donkey Kong just isn't jumping high enough.

This one's sure to do the trick!!

We are bouncing on the bed like this yelling "Jump, Jump, Jump".

It's just too funny to watch. You must see this in person. The body movement must help this little 3 yr. old boy,as he can now beat the 1st level in Donkey Kong all by himself.

Way to go Hunter!!!!

Emily's 1 month check up

Yesterday Emily had her 1 month check up. When she was born she weighed 7'4 and was 20 inches long. Yesterday she weighed 10'2 and was 21 3/4 inches long. She's growing so fast. I've had to put her New Born clothes away. The pants were no longer long enough and the long sleeve shirts were to short. Her 0-3 one piece outfits fit her very well, but her little 0-3 mo. pants are still to big. She still has so much hair. I'm trying to give her plenty of tummy time so hopefully we don't end up with a bald spot on the back of her head.

Madelyn and Emily took a nap on my bed yesterday. When I checked on them this is what I found. I couldn't resist taking a picture. Emily's hand is soo tiny. Before I know it the day will be here that Emily's hand will be the same size of Maddies today.

My first dress

This is the first dress I made for Madelyn. I think it turned out very good. Maddie loves it because it's purple. I'm just thankful after all the hard work making it she's willing to wear it almost every Sunday to church.

Isn't this just the cutest little boy ever. It's crazy to think Hunter is 3 1/2 already. In Juanuary he is going to be a Sunbeam. I think I'm also going to try doing Joy School with him and a few other friends his age come January. I can't believe he's old enough to attend a preschool. It seems like just yesterday he was curled up in a little ball asleep on my chest.

Finally developed some film

So I finally developed some film. The past couple of times I've gone to Wal Mart their 1 hour has been down. Last week they were up and running. Grandma Heaton came to visit us and brought cousin Savanna. Hunter and Maddie had fun playing with their cousin. It's not often we have cousins at our house to play with.
It's amazing to think I am a mother of 3 kids. I can rememer vividly wondering how I could be a good mother to 1 but now 3. Time is really going by fast.

While Grandma Christensen was here. She made Emily some blankets. The kids really enjoyed helping her pin the fabric. The blankets turned out great. We use them daily.

Emily is 4 weeks old

Emily is 4 weeks old. Kory and I have been trying to get her to smile. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. When she does smile it's just for a second. As you can see I'm not quite quick enough with the camera to catch the full smile.

A friend saw Emily yesterday that hasn't seen her for at least a week. She said Emily looks like a little chipmunk with her full cheeks. I think this is a good thing. She's definitely changing quickly. Today is her one month check up. I'm anxious to see how much she has grown from just 2 weeks ago weighing in at 8'3.

We had an Elder's Quorm party this past saturday and the kids were able to wear their costumes. They were both so excited. Hunter dressed as a pirate. He looked so cute. Somehow I took the girls pictures and not his. I still can't belive I missed him. Maddie is a lady bug. Maddie has called her costume a lady bug for weeks now. The past few days however she calls herself a budderfly which just causes havoc with Hunter. The arguement goes something like this. Hunter says "Maddie you are a red lady bug" Maddie says, "No me a budderfly" Hunter says, "No you not. You are a lady bug." Maddie says, "NO!!! ME A BUDDERFLY" Hunter says"NO YOU A LADY BUG". Maddie says, "NO ME NOT". Hunter says, "YES YOU AM". By now they are screaming at each other, both wanting to be right. I can't imagine where the stubborness comes from.

Can you guess what Emily is????To Hunter's udder (hee hee hee) delight she is a cow. Doesn't she make a cute cow. The costume helped keep her toasty warm at the party being it was held outside at a park.

I had a friend take these pictures yesterday on her new digital camera. I think the pictures turned out great. I've wanted a new camera for some time now, but haven't known what I wanted. Seeing these pictures I know what I want now.

Hunter and Madelyn love their new sister.

Look at those big brown eyes. Aren't they just beautiful.

A full head of hair. So much fun.

Mommy and Emily. She is just sooooo cute.

We took the kids bowling several weeks ago. The kids really enjoyed themselves. Hunter wants to go bowling now for familyhome evening every week.
Grandma Christensen stayed several days after I had Emily. The kids have asked every day since she left when she's coming back. We really enjoyed having her with us.

We set the nintendo up a few weeks ago. The kids love trying to play this new type of game. The kids share well, it's reminding Daddy to take turns.

Hunter loves eating bananas.

Daddy and the kids getting reverent for prayer.

We love our new sister.
