Easter Fun At The Park

This past saturday my sister Sheri and others from her school helped sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt at a local park. We were given an extra special invitation to attend. Everyone got to die easter eggs. While we were waiting for the easter egg hunt the kids had fun playing on the playground. Aunt Hanna took Jamie, (Sheri's son) so that Sheri could concentrate on what she needed to do. Kory was with us and thought to put both babies in the same swing. This brought back some fun memories. With Hunter and Maddie only 14 months apart and Hunter being so small we use to put both kids in the same swing all the time. It didn't bother my bigger kids and it didn't seem to bother these 2 cousins.

Brayden LOVES slides. He loves them so much that he refused to participate in the egg hunt for his age becuase he wanted to go down the slide. Not wanting to fight with him Kory let him miss the big hunt and have the slide all to himself as most of the other kids were waiting at the starting line of there egg hunt to begin.

Despite the look Hunter had a good time too.

The boys wanted to play as the girls wanted to participate in all the fun activities.

They were given rabbitt ears to wear.

Maddie had a butterfly painted on her cheek.

Then the much awaited Easter Egg Hunt began....

After the hunt the kids showed, shared and swapped with each other. They all thought they had found the best stuff.

It was a good day. It was a fun day.
